What a weekend! It’s been three days off for me…three glorious days full of rest and relaxation and I’m ready to get after it this week. I’m registered for the Rock the Parkway half marathon in April of 2016 with my best sister-friend! I’m trying to get a jump start on training since I like to actually run a half marathon in training before I run it the actual day of the race. I’ve also been working on macros, and I thought this would be a good way for me to share my workouts and a little accountability.
My workouts this week include:

I’m hoping to add a little extra yoga in where I can, but my daily workouts of cardio/weights will be about 75 minutes if I keep moving. They can easily creep to 90 minutes, though, and that’s just longer than I want to spend in the gym before I go to work or even after I get home. I’m also aiming for 2 weeks of consistent macros so I’ll update that in two weeks. If anyone else is running a half marathon, I’d be interested in hearing your most valuable training tools.
